The Governors are seeking a skilled and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a positive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification for equivalent.
Is flexible, resilient and committed to inclusive education.
Has experience of ELSA or a willingness to undertake training.
Is enthusiastic and committed to helping children succeed.
Has experience of working with pupils with special educational needs.
Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
Is committed to raising standards.
Has excellent interpersonal skills, is a team player and has the desire to fully contribute to our happy school.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs both in and out of the classroom.
Assist in planning and adapting learning activities to suit individual learning needs.
Support behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation.
This post includes pastoral duties including lunchtime cover and may also include some whole class teaching cover.
