About the role
As the Ceiling Track Hoist Engineer for Medequip Assistive Technologies, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that meet the needs of our service users by offering access from a bed to chair, bed to bathroom, or multiple rooms to enable independence.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Installation of ceiling track hoists according to specified requirements
* Service and repair of ceiling track hoists
* Undertake regular manufacturer training
* Ensuring all work is completed in a clean and tidy manner
* Effective communication with the rest of the team and with customers
* Participation in the out-of-hours repairs rota
* Maintaining the company vehicle and van stock in good order
* Working responsibly, with care and respect

Qualifications and experience required
* Full training and support for installing ceiling tracks, including asbestos awareness
* A full UK driving licence (minimum of 3 years)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills
* Flexibility with working days/hours and participation in an emergency on-call rota
