Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service is looking for an ICT Support Analystto join our ICT Service Desk Team. You’ll provide an effective, customer-focused support service to users across the organisation, helping to resolve issues quickly and keep critical systems running.
You will need strong communication and customer service skills, as well as excellent attention to detail to be able to accurately update records and systems. You will be an effective and willing team player who contributes to the team, department and service objectives. You will also be able to demonstrate that you can work on under your own initiative, effectively triage issues, problem solve, deliver excellent customer service, prioritise incidents and requests.
As an ICT Support Analyst, your work will include:
* Provide support for ICT hardware, software and systems, resolving issues promptly by using first line fixes and escalating where appropriate.
* Log, update and actively monitor incidents/requests to ensure progress is tracked and service levels (SLAs) are met.
* Maintain accurate records in digital systems, including asset management data, and manage user accounts, permissions and access rights.
* Carry out routine checks on software, systems, applications and equipment; diagnose issues using structured testing/triage and recommend improvements.
* Help maintain the security and integrity of ICT systems, applying good practice and confidentiality and supporting compliance with data protection requirements.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of corporate and bespoke systems; undertake independent learning and identify training needs.
