We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care within our assisted living facility. Responsibilities
* Assist the Manager in the overall management of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
* Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care to residents, fostering a positive working environment.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's and dementia care.
* Oversee medication administration and ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed.
* Conduct regular assessments of resident wellbeing and adjust care plans as necessary.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the team, promoting professional development and training opportunities.
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
* Maintain accurate records of resident care activities and staff performance.
Skills
* Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
* Strong background in nursing or senior care, with knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's care practices.
* Excellent management skills with prior supervising experience preferred.
* Ability to develop effective care plans that meet individual resident needs.
