We have a new opportunity to be part of the F1 Evolution team in the role of F1 Evolution Parts & Lifing Coordinator.Purpose:To manage F1 Evolution events inventory control both physically and electronically.To manage and issue trackside component allocations in line with component life requirementsTo accurately produce inventory requests, manage stock levels and highlight shortages in a timely mannerTo pack/unpack parts travelling to/from the track, be involved in loading of freight along with garage build at F1 Evolution eventsTo issue a variety of components and assemblies to Evolution project mechanics adhering to projected mileage expectationsTo assist Chief Mechanic/Number One Mechanic in damage reporting and work requestsTo manage F1 Evolution driver and team clothing requirementsTo travel to all F1 Evolution events, along with storage locations in which the projects inventory is heldTo actively contribute to the Team’s primary objective of consistently being a top three team in the FIA Formula One Constructor’s ChampionshipPrimary ResponsibilitiesTo ensure trackside parts inventory is managed and available as required, working closely with the Heritage SupportTo ensure parts are issued to reflect the associated allocations in line with component life requirementsTo manage component allocations and record component allocation changes tracksideTo manage and develop the F1 Evolution inventory management systemsTo produce trackside shortage reports from event to event based on parts usage and stock quantitiesTo ensure all trackside returns requests are fulfilled and manage trackside to factory returns shipmentsTo assist Chief Mechanic/Number One Mechanic with damaged parts recording to action new orders or work required to partsTo ensure driver technical kit is approved for use and available when requiredTo ensure the correct team clothing is available at the track, keeping updated on team personnel sizes and changes requiredTo ensure sufficient levels of race team PPE are available trackside from event to eventTo travel to all F1 Evolution events and support F1 Race Events if requiredTo attend and proactively participate in build meetings as requiredTo work proactively, responsibly, and professionally, in accordance with the company’s reporting structureTo maintain and develop skill levels to industry standardAny other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job roleSkills & Knowledge RequiredPossess an excellent working knowledge of inventory management/control and have experience in its associated software systemsPossess a thorough understanding of freight control, including the safe and appropriate transport of a variety of vehicle assembliesDemonstrate a good working knowledge of allocations, technical drawings, and schedulesPrevious experience as parts / stock control or similar in a F1, F2, F3, Sportscars or other high level Motorsport environmentAbility to demonstrate good working relationships with both internal departments and outside suppliersTo be available to travel as and when required to fulfil the requirements of the role, along side appropriate ad-hoc dutiesTo be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environmentAbility to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets, and deliver results within required timescalesAbility to demonstrate strong written and oral communication, alongside a high level organisational skillsPossess an innovative and flexible approach to creative problem solvingPossess the ability to work through challenges in a methodical and analytical mannerBe results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skillsTo have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environmentTo be flexible to working hours as requiredBe enthusiastic and versatile in creating good working relationships with colleaguesAbility to demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to Health and SafetyEmbark on a journey with Aston Martin Aramco® Formula One Team to reshape history at our brand new state-of-the-art, sustainable campus based in Northamptonshire.
