Role: To provide support to the Director of Health and Safety in the delivery of Health and Safety Management Systems and processes across the group to help ensure a culture of best practice health and safety across the business and property portfolio, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory regime.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the delivery of safety and health management and safety culture
* Provide health and safety advice and guidance to colleagues and contribute to problem solving
* Undertake health and safety inspections and audits of Graingers sites
* Coordinate health and safety internal audit and risk management processes
* Provide face to face DSE assessments and follow up actions
* Creating Risk and Control Matrices (RACMs) and process maps where required
* Manage the day to day administration of the health and safety management systems, inbox, leading on improvement projects for systems and processes
Skills & Experience
* Experience in a similar role.
* Demonstrable knowledge, understanding and experience of using health, safety management systems
* Excellent knowledge of managing spreadsheets, databases and managing data and producing reports
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Excellent written and oral communication skills for internal and external stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
