Job Description
2nd Line Support required. My client are leading specialists within the industry offering a wide range of IT support, services and innovations to solve their clients needs. Their core products & services place them within the top 5% of accredited Microsoft Business Partners globally.
They are now looking for an experienced 2nd Line Support technician to join their exciting, growing team based in Crawley, West Sussex. The successful candidate must have a full UK driving license as they will be required to attend client visits occasionally. If you come from a Microsoft focused background – that would be a great advantage.
Position Overview
1. Proactively managing & resolving second line help desk calls
2. Occasional travel to clients for on-site IT work and installations
3. Handling documentation
4. General IT Support (hardware, software, servers, printers)
5. Logging and resolving IT issues within the SLA
6. Working alongside the project engineers
7. Installing printers / pc’s / access points on site when required
Position Requirements
8. Full UK driving license
9. Excellent communication skills
10. 1+ year in a 2nd line position
11. Experience using Microsoft 265
12. Experience in installations / servers & backups
13. Knowledge in Microsoft servers and Azure
14. Certificates / knowledge in AZ104, AZ140, AZ500, AZ303, MD1 & MS100 is an absolute advantage
15. Willingness to learn
Position Remuneration
16. Monday to Friday 8:30am – 17:30pm
17. Option of overtime if wanted
18. Salary £26,000 – £31,000 Dependant on experience
19. 20 days holiday + bank holiday
20. Pension Scheme (5% from the company)
Company car for site-visits (if over the age of 22)
