Overview
We have a fixed‑term (12 months) part‑time Team Manager opportunity starting September. This role is ideal for an ambitious, enthusiastic and committed AHP with a degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a multidisciplinary therapy team in the Emergency Department and related acute assessment areas.
* Provide expert assessment and treatment of patients with complex presentations.
* Ensure the delivery of a patient‑centred, high‑quality service.
* Support teams during the transformation of acute hospitals in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, focusing on admission avoidance and short‑stay episodes.
Management Duties
Operationally manage staff covering a designated clinical area.
* Rostering, managing absence and recruitment.
* Performance management, clinical governance and audit.
* Service improvement and collaboration with colleagues within and outside the Therapy Centre.
