Hours per week: 1 hour on Saturday and Sunday
Hourly pay rate: £14
I am a disabled woman and a pensioner. I have a lively and open minded outlook, not matched by my physical abilities and I’m interested in politics and disability activism in particular.
I just need 1 hour of support each on Saturdays and Sundays, to do domestic jobs (like cleaning and bed-making) that I can’t manage. No personal care is needed.
I can be flexible about when you can come, though it must be daytime hours after 9 p.m. If it goes well, I may also be able to offer additional hours when my weekday carer is on leave or off sick. This would be a maximum of another 7 hours during the week.
Duties include:
* Housekeeping
* Shopping
* Companionship
* Occasionally looking after the cat
Candidate qualities:
* Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
* Reliable with good timekeeping
* Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
* Hygienic, tidy and well organised
* Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
* Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
* Honest and cheerful
* Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
* Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
* A sense of humour!
* Comfortable with cats
Additional requirements:
* Non-smoker due to medical reasons
