About the role
Job Title: Kitchen Porter
School Location: Kenilworth School, Warwick, CV8 2AJ
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Shifts & Working hours: 11.30am-2.30pm (15 hours per week)
Working Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)
Pay Details: £8,197.95 per Annum
What will I be doing?
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, ensuring everything is clean, organised, and ready for service.
Your responsibilities will include:

* Washing pots, pans, cutlery, and crockery using an industrial dishwasher or by hand as required
\t
* Checking incoming deliveries, ensuring stock is correct, and storing it safely
\t
* Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times
\t
* Supporting the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and high-quality service to all customers
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and ready to be part of a busy catering team.

* Experience in catering, retail, or customer service is helpful, but not essential
\t
* A positive, team-focused attitude
\t
* Willingness to follow food hygiene and safety standards
\t
* Reliability and pride in maintaining high standards
No formal qualifications are required—we’ll support you to develop your skills and grow within the business.
