Job Overview
We have an amazing permanent position available for an Electrical Project Engineer with a world‑leading Formula 1 business, based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire.
You will be a key member of the team, supporting the design and development of F1 test cell facilities, manufacturing facilities and building services infrastructure. The role requires technical ownership, monitoring and management of the electrical distribution network and electrical infrastructure, ensuring all O&M, safety and statutory compliance documentation is delivered. You will provide comprehensive technical support to the Electrical Duty Holder to ensure an effective Electrical Safe System of Work.
The position also involves supporting the ISO 50001 energy management standard, delivering energy‑saving projects, providing energy reports and predicting consumption. You will coordinate and manage planned preventative and reactive maintenance for all HV/LV switch gear and transformers, support the fixed‑wire testing programme and work towards achieving HV AP (High Voltage Authorised Person) switching engineer status for the facility.
The role is 100% site‑based in Brixworth, Monday to Friday 8am‑5pm.
Qualifications
* HNC, HND, bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Controls Engineering.
* 18th Edition IET qualification or equivalent.
* HV AP Certificate less than five years old or in progress.
* Experience with AutoCAD 2D.
Knowledge of Schneider, MEM, ABB and EATON electrical distribution systems, Schneider SEPAM, ION and other Schneider meters, Siemens Desigo CC and Schneider Accusine systems is a significant advantage.
