Join the EmbodyXR project team! EmbodyXR is an award-winning collaboration between Mercurial Dance and University for the Creative Arts ' School of Games & Creative Technology, funded by UK Research and Innovation.
This interdisciplinary role sits at the intersection of mental health, immersive tech, and youth engagement. You’ll help shape new ways of supporting young people (aged 13–25) through VR-based wellbeing tools and gameplay interventions, combining evidence-based practice with creative innovation.
EmbodyXR is an immersive dance game helping young people manage anxiety through movement, mindfulness and storytelling.
You’ll join a growing team of artists, developers, and researchers working towards clinical validation and real-world impact.
We’re looking for someone who is:
* A registered or accredited wellbeing professional (e.g. BACP counsellor, RMN, PWP, or equivalent)
* Experienced in supporting young people in mental distress or crisis
* Skilled in designing & analysing user-testing for digital or game-based wellbeing tools
* Confident delivering group workshops and liaising with clinical and creative partners
