The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating memorable events, particularly weddings and hotel functions.To apply please submit your CV to Responsibilities:- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of events, including weddings, conferences, meetings, and other functions- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and ensure all requirements are met- Manage event logistics, including room bookings, setup, catering, audiovisual equipment, and guest accommodations- Collaborate with various departments within the hotel to ensure seamless event execution- Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests throughout the event planning process and onsite during events- Anticipate and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during events to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction Requirements:- Proven experience as an Events Coordinator, preferably within a hotel setting- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members- Knowledge of event planning best practices and industry trends- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
