Total Fire Safety is recruiting a Trainee Fire Door Surveyor. Founded in 2011 Total Fire Safety has, over the last 15 years, built a reputation as specialists in fire risk assessment and passive fire protection. Our services include fire risk assessments, fire door surveys, compartmentation (fire-stopping) surveys, fire door maintenance and installation, and remediation of non-compliant fire doors. You’ll be trained to perform surveys to ensure our clients Fire Doors are compliant with British Standards. What you receive for joining us: We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 to £30,000 per annum, with 23 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays, company 5% pension, and a company van with fuel card. You’ll work a 40hrs per week with overnight stays when required. If you reside in the Midlands, this will be ideal, but there is a potential for UK wide travel. Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing: Assist in surveying fire doors to assess compliance with current regulations and standards Record inspection findings accurately using a smart device and follow established reporting procedures Support senior surveyors in identifying defects, understanding fire door components, and learning relevant building regulations Engage professionally with clients on-site, demonstrating strong customer care and representing the company positively Can you show experience in some of these areas?
