We are looking for a confident Care & Support Team Leader with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
You will work full time, 42 hours a week, on 12‑hour shifts that include alternate weekends (four shifts in week one, three shifts in week two on a two‑week rolling rota). The role is based at Oxley Woodhouse, a specialist residential service in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire supporting people with learning disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Main duties of the job
* Medication management
* Allocation of duties
* Support both management and team members in the day‑to‑day running of the service
* Oversee the staff team and ensure service users are being supported in a way that best meets their needs and wishes
* Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all people in our care
* Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
* Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
* Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs
* Act in safeguarding duties
* Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
* Support service users to access the community, attend work, college, hobbies, activities, days out & holidays
* Support service users to grow, develop & learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking & cleaning
