The Eating Disorder Service is currently undergoing a period of significant growth and development, creating an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team. Based at the Reginald Centre, our multi-disciplinary team works in close partnership with acute hospitals and third-sector organisations to deliver high-quality care across the Leeds district.We are seeking to recruit to the following post:Up to 1 Full-time Band 7 Practitioners (Social Worker, Mental Health Nurse, Children's Nurse, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist). Part time applicants will be considered.The Band 7 post holder will play a key role in providing and leading highly specialist assessment and clinical care within the Eating Disorder Service. This includes holding responsibility for their own caseload while contributing to service-wide delivery. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient-centred programmes of care, always ensuring practice remains within professional competence, regulatory standards, and evidence-based frameworks.The post holder will also contribute to service innovation by developing new approaches to clinical practice, integrating emerging knowledge and techniques, and collaborating with other services to drive improvements. This role may involve working across multiple service pathways, including both in-reach and outreach provision. While primarily based at the Reginald Centre, regular travel across the Leeds area will be essential to support service functioning. Clinical interventions may take place in family homes as well as acute settings, across both LTHT and LYPFT sites.Leadership and DevelopmentStrong leadership skills are essential for this role. The post holder will be expected to provide support and supervision to both junior and senior colleagues, while actively contributing to the ongoing development of the service.
