Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee all aspects of food production and preparation. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for, ensuring food safety standards are met, and managing kitchen operations efficiently, Stock Control and achieving correct margins
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Oversee food production processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to maintain excellence.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant setting.
* Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary arts.
* Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
