Overview
Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialty Doctor to work in the Older Age Psychiatry Department in Stockport. The post is based in The Meadows and is a community post. Suitable for anyone who has previous Psychiatry experience in Old Age, either as part of the RCPsych training programme or in alternative Old Age posts. This is an exciting time to join the Trust with transformation work across both community and in-patient settings. The Trust has an established Specialty Doctor network, which the post holder would be expected to participate in.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality Mental Health Care for Older People with severe and enduring mental illness within the community, including work with functional and organic illnesses.
* Collaborate closely with community teams and consultants within The Meadows to ensure multidisciplinary working and continuity of care.
* Work within a consultant-led team, supporting the assessment, formulation, treatment and management of patients, and building your own caseload.

What happens when pre-employment checks are complete?
