Salary: £29,000 - £31,000 + 25% Shift Allowance
The role
As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high‑quality components in line with engineering drawings and specifications. This is a hands‑on role focused on machining rather than programming.
Key responsibilities
* Setting and operating CNC milling machines
* Working from engineering drawings to manufacture precision components
* Ensuring parts are produced to required quality standards
* Making adjustments to tooling and offsets as required
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Shift pattern
* Monday – Thursday:
o 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
o 2:00 pm – 11:00 pm
* Friday:
o 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
* (25% shift allowance applies)
Skills & experience required
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller (Setter/Operator)
* Experience working with control systems such as Winmax, Siemens, or Heidenhain
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience machining aluminium components
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
