Role Overview
As Cleaning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all facets of our cleaning operations. You will be responsible for managing multiple sites, ensuring compliance with contractual KPIs and SLAs, and consistently exceeding client expectations. Through strong leadership and hands-on management, you will build and nurture a high-performing team that delivers exceptional cleaning standards and proactive service.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee cleaning operations across allocated contracts and sites.
* Monitor, measure, and report on KPIs and SLAs, taking corrective actions where necessary to maintain targets.
* Manage and motivate your cleaning teams to achieve high standards of performance, professionalism, and reliability.
* Develop strong working relationships with clients, addressing any concerns promptly and ensuring their satisfaction.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Manage recruitment, training, and development of cleaning staff to continuously upskill the workforce.
* Collaborate with other departments to optimise scheduling, resource allocation, and overall operational effectiveness.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiencies.
Required Experience and Skills
* Extensive experience in the cleaning sector, preferably with responsibility for multi-site management.
* Proven ability to understand, manage, and exceed KPIs and SLAs in a facilities management context.
* Demonstrated track record of exceeding customer expectations through excellent service delivery.
* Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in recruiting, coaching, and developing teams.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in reporting and data analysis to monitor operational performance.
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and drive projects to completion.
