Job Title: SEN support Location: Hartlepool Pay rate: £90-£120 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Support vulnerable learners within a structured school-based setting and help them rebuild confidence in education! GSL Education are recruiting for a committed Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support professional to work within a PRU unit based inside a school in Hartlepool. This role involves supporting students with additional needs, including SEMH and behavioural challenges, within a specialist provision that operates as part of the wider school community. Main Responsibilities of SEN support: Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support within the PRU unit. Assist students in managing behaviour and engaging positively with learning. Support emotional regulation and social development. Work closely with teaching staff to adapt resources and lesson activities. Maintain safeguarding standards and follow school policies at all times. Requirements of SEN support: Experience working with students with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs. Previous experience in a PRU or alternative provision setting is desirable. Calm, resilient, and patient approach. Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
