Lead a key customer relationship and drive commercial growth.

We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager to take ownership of a key customer account within Pilgrim’s Europe.

Based at our Uxbridge office, this role will focus on managing and developing the customer’s partnership across chicken and pork categories, ensuring strong commercial performance while identifying opportunities for growth.


What You’ll Be Doing

* Manage the commercial relationship with a recipe box account, driving profitable and sustainable growth.
* Take full P&L responsibility for the account across chicken and pork categories.
* Develop and deliver Joint Business Plans (JBPs) aligned with both customer and business objectives.
* Identify and unlock new opportunities for sales growth, margin improvement and market share.
* Develop long-term customer strategies and wiring plans to strengthen the partnership.
* Lead commercial negotiations, trading agreements and pricing discussions.
* Deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting and performance tracking.
* Work closely with category, marketing, NPD, supply chain and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Lead internal alignment across departments to ensure the customer agenda is fully represented.
* Provide regular updates and performance insight to senior stakeholders.
* Support and drive own label product development programmes with the customer.
* Work with innovation teams to deliver customer-led NPD, ensuring projects meet timelines, cost targets and commercial objectives.
* Analyse promotional and commercial performance to improve effectiveness.
* Monitor risks and opportunities to plan, implementing corrective action where required.
* Champion the customer internally and ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.


What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in commercial or account management within the food industry.
* Experience managing own label / private label / brands retail or foodservice accounts.
* Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L responsibility.
* Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and influencing skills.
* Ability to manage complex customer relationships and internal stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insight into action.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to manufacturing sites.
* Experience working with meal kit or retail customers.
* Degree qualification (or equivalent commercial experience).
* Experience managing NPD programmes and product launches.


Location & Travel

* Office-based role in Uxbridge (no hybrid working).
* Regular travel required to manufacturing sites in Bromborough and Anwick.
