Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role:
As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel, while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.
Responsibilities include:
* Creating a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent within your team.
* Ensuring an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
* Managing kitchen standards related to food, health, safety, and financial performance, including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
* Building a coaching culture, working with your Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development.
* Being a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.
What we look for:
* Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
* Proven ability to maintain high standards in food safety and hygiene.
* Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
* Experience in managing labour costs and adapting to changing demands.
* Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team.
* Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful environment.
* Ability to think proactively and make quick decisions.
