THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking to recruit an FLT driver for our client based in Gateshead. Our client is nationwide manufacturer who have been operating since 2016.
7. The business supplies to the packaging supply chain and are making over 300 million units
8. They are a forward-thinking, family owned business who are constantly innovating and aiming to be a market leader in the industry
9. The organisation provides a strong network of training and support. They will work with you to develop your skill set and competency.
THE ROLE
10. Picking and packing goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment
11. Physical activity including lifting and handling stock
12. Picking stock off shelves from a picking sheet
13. Putting stock away onto shelves using a put away sheet
14. Loading and unloading of stock using a FLT Counterbalance
It would be beneficial to hold a Flexi licence
15. Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
16. To work within company Health and Safety Rules
To assist and adhere to adhere to BRC standards When working Goods In:-
17. Receipting and inspecting deliveries.
18. Following all processes to ensure traceability of all materials filling in all appropriate paperwork in a timely manner
19. Stacking and Storing materials in designated areas and when required unpacking and preparing for production
When working Finished Goods:-
20. Assembling, sealing, labelling, stacking, and organising cartons of finished goods
21. Loading vehicles in a way as to not jeopardise the quality of the finished product.
22. Bailing skeletal, recording the weights and storing in designated space in the warehouse.
23. Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
THE PERSON
24. You will be physically fit, have the ability to lift and handle stock.
25. Experience packing in a manufacturing environment
26. Flexible to undertake additional duties such as Warehousing or Quality disciplines.
