The Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer Role
Your daily duties will mainly include attending to sites, replacing hoses and hydraulic components for our clients, liaising with existing customers, reporting job processes through the company mobile app, and updating orders.
The role also involves developing the business with existing and new customers.
Basic hours of work are 8 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday (42.5 hours a week). As the Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer you will be expected to be part of an on‑call rota (usually one week a month) which will require work onsite at nights and weekends if needed. This will be rewarded by on‑call retainer, overtime pay + commission for being on a call‑out.
Requirements
* The ideal candidate must be a hard‑working and reliable person, being able to work unsupervised and be customer‑focused.
* All applicants must have previous experience working in the Hose Replacement Industry or as a Forklift/Plant fitter, HGV fitter, Agricultural Fitter or experience in a mechanical role.
* The job role involves canvassing potential new customers so candidates must be confident dealing with new & existing customers.
* All applicants must hold a manual UK Driving Licence, ideally for a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 3 penalty points.

* Starting basic salary of £28,500 - £34,000 and the potential to earn much more through overtime & uncapped commissions structure.
