We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Birmingham – M42.
You'll:
1. Communicate effectively with other engineers, supervisors, enabling functions, designers, and client representatives.
2. Understand the design for the works you are doing on site and ensure you have enough information to set the works out.
3. Work with the section engineer and supervisors to identify and manage any clashes/blockers.
4. Keep an accurate and detailed daily site record for all works. Communicate any change to your section engineer.
5. Set out the works in accordance with the design including line and level.
6. Collaborate with others to plan your works to minimize health and safety hazards.
7. Collaborate with others to plan your works to minimize environmental hazards.
What you'll bring to the role:
8. Competence with surveying equipment e.g. total station and GPS
9. Ideally, HSG47 training
10. Having a driver’s licence is mandatory
11. Understanding of highways construction activities
