DBI provides a two-tiered response: Level 1 from frontline agencies and Level 2 supportive interventions delivered by Penumbra. As a Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioner Peer, you will respond to referrals within 24 hours, providing community-based support such as problem-solving, wellness and distress management, supported connections, and signposting for up to 14 days.
This role allows you to influence our work and showcase your ideas, making a tangible difference to those we support.
Your personal experience managing mental health challenges is valued and will be integral to your role. We appreciate how your insights can help empower others with passion, compassion, creativity, and positivity.
The role involves a blended delivery approach, including remote, telephone, and in-person support across Penumbra locations and community settings in Ayrshire and Arran.
