To provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the Breast Consultants and their teams.
To produce clinic letters and document, maintain notes collect and collate investigations and produce departmental rotas.
To respond efficiently and effectively to telephone queries from patients, parents/guardians and other healthcare professionals.
To work independently, prioritising and managing workload quickly and accurately, responding to the needs of the department.
To offer secretarial support to the admin team when other members of staff are away.
Main duties of the job

2. Receive and produce correspondence
3. Assess and prioritise the urgency of messages for consultants
4. Provide support to other members of staff as appropriate
5. Use initiative, planning and organisational skills.
