Clinic Delivery Team Leader

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, friendly, highly-driven and able to work well under pressure member of staff to our Clinic Delivery Team. You should be hard working and dedicated to providing the best service possible for our patients.
You will work as part of the Outpatient Services team having a responsibility for improving and modernising outpatient services. You will lead a dedicated team of Clinic Delivery Co‑ordinators, working in the Outpatient department, who are responsible for clinic preparation and reception duties. With this team, you will be expected to deliver high quality administrative support to outpatient clinics under your remit.
Monday - Friday rota between 08.00 - 18.00 (37.5 per week)
Main duties of the job
* Supporting the Outpatient Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager with operational, administrative, modernisation and business issues.
* Line management responsibility for designated Delivery Co‑ordinators and to work closely with other Outpatient staff to ensure cross‑cover and support.
* To be high profile and visible, co‑ordinating the smooth running of the clinics, supporting the front‑line staff and ensuring a patient‑focused delivery.
* To assist in the development of the Outpatient Clinic Services in conjunction with other team members.
* To assist in achieving all Outpatient related targets and objective.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
* Knowledge of range of computerised software
* NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualifications.
* Evidence of management training or leadership development course.
Experience
* Administration experience
* Experience of managing and supervising staff
* Experience of using Cerner/iClip and PAS
Skills
* Evidence of problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands
* Deals constructively and sensitively with complaints.
