Electrical Technician role at Anglian Water Services. Permanent, 37 hours per week. Salary £44,000, plus overtime and standby, with opportunity for pay progression. What does it take to be an Electrical Asset Technician?
* Level 3 electrical qualification
* Completed an electrical apprenticeship
* Strong health & safety focus
* Industrial electrical experience
* Ability to work standby-by and overtime as necessary
Key responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for wiring, installing, maintaining and controlling the high diversity of electrical equipment necessary to treat and distribute water. This includes:
* Calibrating and maintaining technical analytical equipment
* Investigate asset trends and carry out electrical interventions
* Assist electrical framework contractors and internal high voltage, optimisation and automation teams
* Utilise electrical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve issues
* React to technical issues to maintain water supply
As well as carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical assets, you will work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable you to operate and maintain water treatment assets and processes.
