The Role
As a Data Engineer, you'll collaborate with our Machine Learning and Product teams to analyse, troubleshoot, and improve data products. You'll be hands-on with
Python, SQL, AWS, and Apache Spark
, helping us build and optimise data pipelines that power cutting-edge analytics and machine learning solutions.
This role is ideal for someone with
2–3 years of experience,
who enjoys problem-solving, working with large and complex datasets, and is looking for the opportunity to grow their skills in a collaborative SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and measure the performance of client's data products, driving continuous improvements.
* Build and optimise data pipelines using
Python, SQL, Apache Spark
, and
AWS services
(EMR, Athena, Lambda, S3).
* Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and scalability issues, ensuring reliability in production.
* Work closely with Product and ML teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
* Write clean, tested application code aligned with best practices.
* Share knowledge across the team and provide constructive feedback to peers.
About You
* 2–3 years' experience as a Data Engineer (or similar role).
* Strong development skills in Python and SQL working with large datasets.
* Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., EMR, Athena, Lambda, S3) or equivalent cloud services.
* Exposure to Apache Spark (or other big data frameworks) preferred.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to break down complex problems.
* Familiarity with agile software development, CI/CD, and testing best practices.
