Job Description:
It’s an exciting time to join the Finance team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers, and streamline and automate our business processes.
We’re looking for a positive and influential finance professional to manage the tracking and reporting of key finance transformation initiatives across the AXA UK Finance function and as part of the AXA Group-wide transformation strategy. You’ll work closely with the Finance ELT, UK project and finance teams, and Group leads to ensure accurate reporting of the Finance Strategy.
At AXA, we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. You’ll work at least 40% of your week away from home in the office, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means attending office locations, visiting clients, or industry events.
What you’ll be doing:
* Compile and submit regular initiative tracking and financial reports to AXA Group. Provide project status reports to Change Boards, Steering Committees, and other stakeholders.
* Own overall business case financials, maintain core Excel models, and act as the key contact for data queries and adjustments.
* Engage with and manage relationships with key stakeholders and sponsors to understand project goals and ensure tracking is complete and aligned.
* Deliver clear and effective written and verbal communications within your role’s scope.
* Represent Finance on AXA UK & AXA Group working parties, Steering Committees, and project meetings as required.
* Support the Finance implementation manager with ad hoc activities including detailed analysis, coordination of transformation activities, and stakeholder meeting preparation.
Note: Due to high application volume, this advert may close early to manage interest. If interested, apply promptly.
What you’ll bring:
* Excellent project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail for managing complex reporting processes with multiple stakeholders.
* Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint, including version control and governance, to coordinate inputs from different stakeholders.
* Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
* Finance qualification or experience working within a finance function, with understanding of key finance processes and structures.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including influencing and negotiating abilities.
* Knowledge of the wider insurance or financial markets is a plus but not essential.
* Ability to adapt your approach to different stakeholders, maintaining trust through openness and honesty, with a customer-first attitude.
* You must be eligible and authorized to work in the UK.
What we offer:
At AXA UK, we value our employees and regularly review our rewards package, which includes:
* Competitive annual salary
* Annual performance-based bonus
* Contributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contributions)
* Life Assurance (up to 10x annual salary)
* 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
* Option to buy or sell up to 5 days leave
