Project Management in Industrial Automation – Eltek Systems
As a Project Manager with Eltek Systems, you will be at the heart of multi-disciplinary project teams, leading Project Coordination and Control for successful design, integration, and commissioning of advanced automation and control systems for clients in a range of industries with a focus on Food and Beverage. You will benefit from a collaborative environment focused on innovation, quality, and continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities – Automation Projects Delivery
1. Lead the project team throughout the full lifecycle of automation/control projects, from tender and design through to implementation, commissioning, and handover.
2. Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure completion on time, within scope and budget, while meeting client expectations.
3. Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships and ensuring clear, regular communication throughout the project.
4. Coordinate internal resources and external suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders in alignment with project plans and company standards.
5. Champion health & safety, risk management, and quality assurance across all stages of the project, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
6. Lead on problem-solving, proactively addressing challenges and identifying opportunities for project improvements and cost savings.
7. Support tendering and business development activities, including assisting with technical and commercial elements of bids as required.
What We're Looking For – Project Managers in Automation
8. Relevant experience managing technical or engineering projects within industrial automation, control systems, or related environments.
9. Understanding and experience of control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI) and their integration in the Food & Beverage (or similar) industries.
10. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills with a collaborative, solutions-driven approach.
11. Well-organised, able to juggle multiple projects and priorities, with a results-oriented mindset.
12. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, MS Project) desirable.
13. Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is advantageous.
14. Full UK driving license and the ability to visit customer sites as required.
15. Eligibility to work in the UK and to obtain UK Security Clearance.
16. From time to time, you may need to travel abroad depending on the project and it’s critical stage
