As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero is looking for a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support day-to-day, short-term and long-term positions for schools across Abergavenny and surrounding areas. Previous experience working with children is preferred. Candidates must be proactive and attentive and able to take initiative. Roles can vary depending on school needs. Responsibilities
* Provide classroom support in day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements across various schools.
* Be proactive, attentive and able to take initiative; follow teacher instructions and effectively communicate information.
* Support with safeguarding and pupil needs under supervision.
Qualifications
* Hold a current DBS or be willing to process one.
* EWC Registration.
* Friendly individual with a passion for assisting others.
* Previous experience in childcare and ALN preferred.
Contract/Position Details
* Location: Various locations across Abergavenny.
* Position: Teaching Assistant.
* Type of work: Supply Teacher — day-to-day and long-term cover in various schools.
* Start date: ASAP.
* Duration: Day-to-day bookings, with potential for extension depending on schools.
* Contract type: Temporary.
* Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (full day); half day (am or pm).
* Minimum rate of pay: GBP 95 per 6.5-hour day.
