The Role
As a Bid Writer, you will play a vital role in securing new opportunities within the adult social care sector in the UK. You’ll collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the business to write and manage tender proposals, ensuring compelling, high-quality submissions for pre-qualification and tender responses.
Key Responsibilities
1. Review and analyze client specifications and tender documents.
2. Interpret bid questions and create structured response templates to support SMEs.
3. Draft and write Selection Questionnaires and bid submissions using clear, persuasive, and engaging language.
4. Proofread and refine responses for accuracy, clarity, and impact before submission.
5. Maintain and improve the content library for future use.
6. Stay up to date with industry regulations and compliance requirements, ideally with knowledge of CQC standards.
7. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
1. Proven experience in bid writing with a track record of success.
2. Degree (BA/MA) in English, Creative Writing, or a related field.
3. Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and professional content.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
5. Highly organized, able to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
6. Ability to remain calm under pressure and work autonomously or within a team.
7. Passionate about producing high-quality work and making a difference.
