Head of Professional Support - Employment | Leeds | Unique Opportunity
Are you an experienced employment lawyer with a passion for leadership and innovation? This is a rare chance to head up our client's Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) team within the Employment, Pensions and Immigration (EPI) department. Leading a talented team, you'll shape legal support strategies, drive digital transformation, and significantly impact the dynamic, nationally recognised practice. Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a team of PSLs, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
* Innovate in legal content development – creating engaging blogs, newsletters, press releases, and digital campaigns
* Deliver training to clients and colleagues to equip them with current legal developments
* Champion technology adoption, manage automated precedent documents, and explore new digital tools
* Ensure lawyers stay updated on legislation, best practices, and market trends
* Support onboarding processes to provide new team members with comprehensive training and induction
* Collaborate across teams with partners, innovation specialists, and knowledge experts to enhance our reputation
Requirements
* Qualified solicitor with substantial experience in employment law, ideally with immigration and pensions knowledge
* Proven leadership experience, either as a senior PSL or a senior lawyer with team management expertise
* Strong enthusiasm for digital tools, automation, and innovative legal support solutions
* Exceptional communication skills, with excellent written English and the ability to produce compelling content
* Interpersonal skills that foster teamwork and commercial awareness to align PSL activities with business goals
