VANRATH are partnering with a industry leader in the heavy commercial vehicle trade, with offices across Northern Ireland. Best-known for its truck provision our client is also the appointed JCB dealer in Northern Ireland for the sale and service of construction, industrial and access equipment.
What you'll do
The primary duties of this position include:
10. Oversee daily operations of the parts team, including performance management, conducting probationary reviews, appraisals, and managing absences.
11. Coach and develop team members by identifying training needs and ensuring these are addressed.
12. Manage stock inventory, coordinate stock checks, and resolve discrepancies while ensuring stock health.
13. Handle parts sales, both in-person and over the phone, ensuring customer demands are met and correct solutions are provided.
14. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, focusing on growing existing accounts and securing new business opportunities for parts sales.
15. Develop and expand the online parts sales presence.
16. Create and maintain pricing support for parts cases and coordinate with JCB on current promotions, working closely with the internal marketing team.
17. Allocate key customers to the parts team and track progress on parts sales.
18. Analyse parts sales spend and prepare reports on performance.
19. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote best practices within the aftersales department.
