Job Summary The eCommerce executive is responsible for ensuring all the products available for sale online are merchandised on the storefront to maximise visibility and sales; whilst adhering to brand guidelines. They will ensure WBC is pushing the right products at the right time and that they are easy to find online. The eCommerce executive will ensure product accuracy working within the product creation process, including description s, dimensions, specification s and images. To optimize the website the eCommerce executive will perform weekly analysis of website, customer, product and category performance data, working closely with the eCommerce manager to implement changes according to findings. Responsibilities & Duties Health Check of Website Monitor and correct the website for errors and mistakes. Maintain the internal linkage, check for image errors and optimise any excessive images. Product Optimisation Improve existing product listings and drive new product launches. Work closely with the product process and marketing teams to manage the performance of ranges, planning promotions and clearance sales. Ensure product data is correct and accurate, working with the wider business to address any issues or inconsistencies. Work on daily and weekly product updates, always keeping an eye on how stock is performing and taking necessary action accordingly. Monitor online product sales, report back to the product team on which products and lines are performing well, and which are under performing. On-site Search R eview and optimi s ation of the on-site search function to ensure customers can easily find what they are looking for. Review search results analytics, create optimised landing pages for popular search terms and review no result pages. Product Merchandising Responsible for merchandising all categories, reacting to new stock arrivals, seasonal events, clearance and promotional campaigns. Carry out daily reviews across all websites, check product information, categorisation and placement is correct. Provide a smooth user experience by ensuring products are categorised correctly, enabling the customer to find the relevant products quickly; maximising conversion. Collection Optimisation Set up new collections and manage existing collections, ensur ing they are fully SEO optimised and accurate. Test collection filters to ensure they function correctly. Review analytics to ensure the correct filters are set per collection. Navigation Ensure the website navigation is optimised to aid customer product search. Run ning testing to support conversion and improve customer journey, when required. Promotionsand Campaigns Working alongside the Marketing team, suggesting and c hange website banners and offers on site, including managing any promotional codes. E nsure this is organised in-line with marketing activity. Reporting and Analysis Perform weekly and monthly analysis of website performance including product and category performance. Knowledge & Skills Formal Education / Qualifications BA/BS Degree in Merchandising, Marketing or related area preferred. Critical Skills Basic knowledge of SEO and store architecture in order to maximise product visibility in SERPs Strong analytical and technical skills Experience of ecommerce platforms ( Bigcommerce /Shopify/WordPress). Proficient in using Google analytics - G4 Proficient in using Microsoft Office especially Excel Excellent attention to detail Proactive and able to use initiative Ability to take ownership of tasks and steer them through to completion Excellent written and spoken English Preferred Skills A love of data and analytics Enjoyment of independent learning Willing to take on tasks and manage them and the stakeholders Key Relationships (Team / Senior Management / External) Internal Team / Management : Work with the eCommerce Manager and the product team to ensure accuracy of product data online. Liaise with the Marketing team to promote products in line with marketing activity. Work with the Digital & Design team to update promotional banners and ads. Communicate statistics and data to the wider team. Aid in response to any issues with the website as reported by the team.
