SCAFFOLDING QUANTITY SURVEYORS – THIS IS A CALL TO ARMS!!

Our client is award-winning, champions in their area of expertise (Scaffolding) and currently have room in their busy offices for a dynamic, experienced Quantity Surveyor.
Previous Scaffolding experience is HIGHLY desirable – It would be great if you’ve done something like this before.
The team are experienced, scaffolding is their passion and there is plenty of support on hand.
Responsibilities
* Overseeing the successful completion of multiple scaffolding projects from contract award to final account, including:
* Negotiating contract terms, ensuring alignment with project scope, priced schedule, and management of commercial risk.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, colleagues, and all other stakeholders.
* Monitor project progress and rectify any obstacles that may arise, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements.
* Work as a team with contracts managers and site supervisors to ensure projects are executed within budget and to customer programme.
* Accurate documentation of change management, variations, and project updates.
* Preparation of timely payment applications in line with contractual terms, and internal cost value reconciliation (CVR).
* Maintain familiarity with the processes of estimating and tendering, valuing works complete.
* Accurately forecast anticipated revenue for projects under your commercial control.
* Ability to travel to site for valuing of works/account meetings.
Qualifications/Key Skills
* Prior experience in Quantity Surveying role within the scaffolding industry is highly desirable, as would a solid understanding of scaffolding systems, materials, and systems of work.
* Strong analytical skills to accurately assess project costs and quantities to aid in pricing variations & valuing of works.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Excellent with Microsoft Excel, and competent with the wider Microsoft Office suite.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
