Job Title: Draughtsman (CAD Technician)
Van Tongeren International Ltd, a leading engineering company based in the heart of Godalming, Surrey, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. Location: Godalming High Street, Surrey (Remote or Hybrid options available)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 PA
Start Date: By 1st July 2026

Your Role:
Create detailed 2D technical drawings for steel fabrication based on specifications and customer requirements.
Review and check drawings prepared by other draughtsmen.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
Update and revise drawings based on design changes or client feedback.
Participate in design reviews and resolve technical issues during production at our workshop in Oldbury, West Midlands.
What Were looking for in a Draughtsman:
Skills & Attributes:
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage work across multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and creative mindset.
Experience:
Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk AutoCAD experience is a plus).
Familiarity with document management systems.
Excellent knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and file-sharing platforms.
