Overview
The FA is seeking a Legacy Evaluation & Insights Manager to conduct primary and secondary research and data analysis for UEFA EURO 2028 legacy impact.
Full‑time, based at Wembley Stadium, initially 1‑year contract with potential extension up to 4 years.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with EURO 28 Legacy Manager and grassroots team to design and deliver a measurement and evaluation programme across the 5 host cities.
* Lead primary and secondary research, using quantitative and qualitative methods, and analyse data within the FA.
* Participate in legacy working group meetings and set pre‑tournament benchmarks.
* Liaise with stakeholders in host cities, FA regional managers, government and the UK&I evaluation partner.
* Consolidate host‑city and non‑host‑city data with existing internal data to measure impact.
* Evaluate performance against each legacy ambition.
* Design, deploy and analyse research and analytics projects.
* Manage the tender process, project management and delivery of outputs of external research agencies.
* Support the R&I team and drive the general R&I agenda.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety and well‑being standards.
* Complete a DBS check in line with legislation and government guidance.
Qualifications
* Experience in measurement and evaluation research, handling large‑scale datasets from surveys or third‑party collection.
* Delivering multi‑disciplinary research projects end‑to‑end.
* Building relationships with stakeholders across seniority levels in a complex organisation.
* Ability to produce and present outputs for different audiences with minimal support.
* Applying "So What" and "Now What" to insights and recommendations.
* Managing 3rd‑party agencies, including tendering and procurement.
* Knowledge of suitable research methodologies and KPI measurement.
* Experience writing and developing questionnaires and discussion guides.
* Using online survey software (e.g., Toluna Start) to script, host and generate data tables.
* Working both independently and within a team.
Technical Skills
* Advanced numeracy and literacy skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Comprehensive primary research skills across qualitative and quantitative methods.
* Analytical skills, handling large‑scale datasets in Excel or similar.
* Interpreting third‑party data and research reports.
* Experience in a research agency or in‑house client‑side research team.

* Experience with research & insight‑related AI tools/platforms.
