As a Finance Manager within our global reporting team, based in London, you will report on the APAC region of the business. This includes monthly reporting, working with auditors, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
You will report to the Senior Finance Manager for APAC.
What you'll be doing:
1. Responsible for month-end reporting across APAC entities and specific processes across all group entities.
2. Liaise with the broader reporting team on group-level processes and take responsibility for specific processes as required.
3. Work with local APAC Finance Strategy and operational teams to ensure a thorough understanding of all accounting entries.
4. Assist the APAC Finance Strategy team with queries on monthly reports.
5. Perform monthly variance analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet, collaborating with other finance sub-departments to understand actuals.
6. Conduct monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, resolving variances and issues.
7. Prepare statutory accounts for APAC entities in accordance with local standards.
8. Coordinate with external auditors to fulfill their requests and address queries.
9. Support the Senior Finance team in finance transformation projects and ad hoc initiatives.
10. Assist during group reporting periods, including half-year and full-year reports.
Requirements:
* Accountancy qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with 2+ years post-qualified experience in a relevant industry role.
* Technical accounting knowledge.
* Good understanding of IFRS15.
* Proactive attitude with a sense of ownership over your work.
* Results-oriented with a willingness to deliver outcomes.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment with clear targets.
* Strong awareness of deadlines.
Advantageous, but not required:
* Experience in a startup environment.
* Prior experience with Netsuite, Blackline, intercompany processes, IFRS16.
