Recruitment Resourcer – Thetford

Full time | Hales Group | Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (office-based)

Ready for your first step into recruitment? We’re looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to join our friendly team at Hales Group in Thetford. You’ll help keep our recruitment process moving day-to-day—speaking to candidates, supporting the branch and making sure great people end up in the right jobs.

You’ll be right at the heart of the action, creating a positive experience for candidates and clients. You’ll support our consultants and branch team to deliver a high-quality, compliant and genuinely people-focused service.

As you will occasionally be heading out to see clients), you’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

This role is ideal if you’re a real people person and want to build a long-term career in recruitment. You’ll spend your day talking to people—face to face and over the phone—while juggling tasks, solving problems and delivering great customer service when it matters most.

It’s a genuine first step into recruitment, with clear progression. Many of our Resourcers go on to become Recruitment Consultants, with structured training (including external courses) and the opportunity to earn great commission as you grow.

Key responsibilities

*

Screen and register candidates through telephone, video and face-to-face interviews

*

Proactively source great candidates using job boards, social media and the Hales Group in-house database

*

Keep candidate documentation accurate, compliant and in line with company processes and legislation

*

Stay in touch with candidates by phone, email, text and messaging to keep engagement high and questions answered

*

Create and post job adverts across recruitment platforms and social media (using Canva)

*

Manage data entry and keep our CRM up to date, accurate and organised

*

Liaise with clients to confirm attendance, support start dates and help with new starter check-ins

What we’re looking for

*

Confident speaking to people on the phone and in person, with a friendly, professional approach

*

Strong customer service mindset—helpful, solutions-focused and calm under pressure

*

Clear written communication for emails, job adverts and candidate updates

*

Able to work well on your own and as part of a busy team

*

Good IT skills in Outlook and confident when learning new systems, previous experience of using CRM systems would be advantageous

*

Strong knowledge and experience of using Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms

*

Comfortable in a fast-paced, process-driven environment where compliance matters

*

Great at multitasking, prioritising and working to deadlines

*

Resilient, organised and proactive—able to think on your feet and solve problems as they come up

*

Experience in recruitment or a customer-facing role is a bonus, but not essential as full recruitment training can be given
