đ SHE Advisor â WPS (North of West Midlands)
Are you passionate about safety, wellbeing, and driving a positive culture across sites and teams? Weâre looking for a committed SHE Advisor to join our WPS business, supporting our projects across the North of the West Midlands. In this role, youâll provide expert SHE guidance, coaching, and handsâon support â helping our project teams deliver safely, consistently and in line with our Wates Professional Standards.
âš What Youâll Be Doing
* Visit projects regularly and complete detailed H&S Support Visits
* Coach project leads on risk identification, mitigation, and Operating Framework compliance
* Lead and support incident investigations, sharing learnings to drive continual improvement
* Review RAMS and project plans to ensure they are timely, accurate and fit for purpose
* Support project teams with bid preparation and preâconstruction information
* Build strong relationships with supply chain partners and influence SHE best practice
* Ensure compliance with Wates Professional Standards
* Mentor supply chain and client SHE reps on the WPS Operating Framework and New START strategy

Youâll Bring
đ€ About You
* Minimum 3 yearsâ experience in a similar SHE role
* Strong hazard identification and risk assessment skills
* Solid knowledge of construction SHE legislation
* Strong reporting, analytical and presentation skills
đ Qualifications
* Experience with asbestos management (essential)
* Tech IOSH / IOSH Cert (minimum)
* NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ Level 4 or working toward MIOSH
* P405 Asbestos Management or Duty to Manage (desirable)
