As part of a team, you will perform maintenance tasks throughout the area such as grass and hedge cutting, pesticide application, litter collection and assisting with burials.
You may also be required to carry out other duties such as street sweeping, refuse collection and any other Environment Service's tasks as and when required.
The Environment Service operates new ways of working which is a variable shift system involving weekend working. The overall aim of the exercise is to secure a modern system that will comply with all Road Transport Regulations and provide continuous seven days a week working.
The Environment Service operates new ways of working which is a variable shift system involving weekend working. The contracted shift pattern will be a Grounds Maintenance shift pattern Sunday - Wednesday, Week 1 and Sunday - Tuesday, week 2.
Skills & Experience Required
A valid UK driving Licence and a C1 and/or C1+E driving licence and full CPC is desirable but not essential for this post.
It would be an advantage to have a PA1/PA6 in pesticide application.
