Morson Vital currently have a really exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Manchester area. This is a permanent position with one of our largest Rail clients. This is to work in their Signalling and Telecoms team.
Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Manchester
Job Type: Permanent with excellent benefits
Salary: £52-£71k per annum
Responsibilities
* Prepare and produce monthly accounting, costing, contract, management, and financial reports.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on bills of quantities, specifications, and contractual implications for both ongoing and new projects.
* Liaise with clients to provide accurate costing information, managing and highlighting any cost or specification variations.
* Maintain client relationships by supporting business development and follow-up activities, including the preparation of quotations for minor works.
* Support the Contracts Manager in preparing tender enquiries and responses, and assist in determining the company's pricing and charging structures.
About You
* Bring proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) within a rail contracting environment.
* Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction.
