Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Cambian SEMH Beverley school- Beverley
Hours: 40 hours per week, term time
Salary Details: £22, .68 per annum
We are looking for Full Time Learning Support Assistant to provide support to our Young People at Cambian Beverley school.

Who we are:
Cambian Beverley School is an independent, DfE-registered, 39 week, coeducational day school. Beverley School provides quality specialist education for up to 16 students, aged 9 – 18 years with on-going social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH). The majority of our students have educational healthcare plans (EHCP), however this is not a requirement for a referral to the school.
You will be:
1. Assisting students in their educational and social development.
2. Providing support inside and outside of the classroom, so they can fully engage in a wide range of activities.
3. Helping to set up activities for students, using technology or adjusting the environment to suit their needs.
4. Supporting teachers, engaging with students, providing learning support, and reacting to situations in the classroom in a positive, non-disruptive manner.
5. Working 1:1 or 2:1 with some students, to give them the time and support they need to learn.
