Job description\n\nThe role:\n\nMaking one-off and small batches of complex precision machined components from various aerospace grade materials.\n\nAccurately inspecting and measuring components using various inspection equipment including, but not limited to, Micrometers, Verniers and Plug Gauges.\n\nSetting and Operating Manual/CNC Lathes (Knowledge of either Fanuc, Siemens or XYZ controls).\n\nKey skill requirements:\n\nA minimum of five years' experience working in a precision machining environment.\n\nGood working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and engineering drawings.\n\nAbility to produce complex components to drawing tolerance and specifications, efficiently and accurately.\n\nAdherence to quality standards.\n\nPossessing an enthusiastic can-do attitude with an eye for detail.\n\nWe offer a competitive salary commensurate with the abilities and experience that you bring to us, together with an excellent contributory pension scheme, death in service and income protection benefits.\n\n39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm & Friday 7.30am-12.30pm\n\nFive weeks paid annual leave plus statutory Bank Holidays\n\nThe premises are situated in a rural location not served by public transport and therefore your own transport will be required.\n\nJob Types: Full-time, Permanent\n\nPay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year\n\nAdditional pay:\n\nBonus scheme\nPerformance bonusBenefits:\n\nCompany events\nCompany pension\nFree parking\nLife insurance\nOn-site parking\nPrivate medical insurance\nProfit sharing\nSick paySchedule:\n\nDay shift\nMonday to FridayExperience:\n\nMachinist: 3 years (required)Work Location: In person\n\nReference ID: Jo(phone number removed)
