We’re working with a leading regional contractor with a strong presence across Hampshire and the Southeast, known for delivering high-quality projects in both public and private sectors. This contractor has secured a £ million refurbishment and new-build scheme on a secureernment facility, scheduled to start early next year. They are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager this year to support pre-construction and procurement activities.The business has an excellent reputation for deliveringplex projects across sectors such as:

The Ideal CandidateWe’re seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of deliveringplex projects for either a Tier One contractor or a large regional main contractor. You’ll be based locally in the Hampshire/Berkshire region and willing to cover projects across both counties.To succeed in this role, you should have:
4. Experience managing refurbishment and new-build schemes across multiple sectors, ideally including secureernment, education, andmercial projects
5. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive performance and maintain high standards of safety and quality
6. Relevant industry qualifications and certifications, such as SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), First Aid, and ideally security clearance or eligibility to obtain them.
7. A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with design teams, subcontractors, and clients
Key Responsibilities
8. Lead the full lifecycle of a secureernment refurbishment/new-build project, from pre-construction through delivery and handover.
9. Coordinate design, procurement, and site operations to meet programme, budget, and quality targets.
10. Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensurepliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
11. Monitormercial performance, manage cost plans, and produce accurate progress reports.
12. Drive risk and change management processes to protect the programme and profitability.
13. Lead and mentor site teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
14. Utilise digital tools for planning, reporting, and document control.
Salary & Benefits
15. Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 (DOE)
