About the role
We are seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Midweight Graphic Designer to work in synergy with the Brand & Creative Lead, design colleagues and wider marketing department to craft visually engaging content across digital, social and traditional media that aligns with our brand's aesthetic and business goals. You will be working on a range of external and internal projects as we look to expand our services to the world.
Responsibilities
* Conceptualise, design and prepare visual content for both digital and print materials, including social media graphics, web assets, email templates, posters, match‑day programmes, presentations and banners.
* Maintain design consistency across all mediums while keeping creativity at the forefront.
* Support high‑profile projects such as kit launches, retail and merchandise campaigns, season‑ticket promotions and special events held at St Mary's Stadium.
* Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to bring campaigns to life and engage supporters across the club's touchpoints.
* Create mood boards, concept sketches and mock‑ups to help clients visualise designs while ensuring all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and meets project requirements.
Qualifications
* Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
* At least 3 years of professional experience, with agency background preferred.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with After Effects, Premiere Pro or Figma is a plus.
* High understanding of design principles, typography and layout.
* Experience in branding and brand design, managing multiple projects while adhering to timelines.
* Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and proactive problem‑solving.
* Experience pitching creative ideas and presenting to clients.
* Adaptability in utilising AI solutions as part of the design process.
